The workshop will be taught by Paul Ramos, who has trained in martial arts for over 50 years and who has studied internal Kung Fu systems for over 35 years. No experience is necessary, and the methods selected will work equally well for males or females. The Cost is $100 per person and will take place between 2-6 pm on Saturday January 21. CHINESE NEW YEAR OF THE RABBIT
The official start of the Year of the Water Rabbit takes place on January 22, 2023. It comes as the eventful and regenerating Year of the Tiger departs and allows the influences of the Water Rabbit to arrive as ‘the harbinger of gentleness and serenity’. According to Karma.com, the pattern changes to a time of rest, truce, and intellectual challenge. Individually and collectively, it is a time for healing, for reacquiring inner balance and for making plans for the future. Challenges are stabilizing and it becomes advantageous to show tolerance toward putting out the final fires of last year’s chaotic energies. Repressed problems may arise which allows the opportunity to make peace with one’s personal issues once and for all. Be careful to not allow yourself to be influenced by incomplete information or by reflex reactions. It is a transformational time to assess your undesired issues and objectively see and act toward leaving them behind.
